Pierre Poster Session

Well, it's been a little while since my last post. I've been busy with school and getting ready for the Pierre Poster Session where I presented research for an SRI grant that I have been awarded. My project is a comparison of Immanuel Kant's philosophy of morals against a novel by William Faulkner titled As I Lay Dying. I evaluated the characters of the novel with the definition moral actions by Kant. For a view of my paper you can visit this page: SRI paper.

The poster session was on Wednesday, February 14. It was a pleasant experience even though I was a little out numbered by scientific research. Standing for three hours started to be a bit weary but I made it! All in all, it was good. Here is a photo of me next to my poster and you can visit the DSU site here.

Way to go, Adam! You're looking sharp in the vest and tie. Good to hear you had a good time there and got a chance to mingle with other good students. I couldn't find you in the group shots on the stairs, though.

I made a poster for this session, but it wasn't for research I had done. I've made Jeff Swett's poster the past two years for this project. They're good portfolio boosters!
Good job, hope it was enlightening.

Way to go Adam! The poster session is a bit rough for literary research, but by getting students there, those in power might just see how important these types of research are just as important as any other. I would love to read your paper.

Faulkner rocks!
